Greetings from the Dragoons!

I am First Sergeant Sanford Long, currently serving as the senior Non-Commissioned Officer in Delta Company, 52nd Infantry (Anti-Tank), "Dragoons." Our Company has a proud lineage dating back to 1917. Delta Company is credited with participation in both World Wars, the Vietnam Conflict, and the Global War on Terror. Many members of our Company have already deployed in support of our nation's current conflicts.

We maintain rigorous standards backed by intensive training to ensure that our Soldiers will be the best-trained Warriors when they take the field of battle. The NCO backbone of our Company remains dedicated to Soldier development and professionalism, and we always seek to support Soldiers' needs. An integral part of preparing our Soldiers for the fight is providing for their welfare, both in garrison and during deployment. I place a high priority on working with Soldiers' families and building morale and esprit de corps through such events as competitive sports and Company functions.
