1-52d Aviation Regiment
The 1st Battalion, 52d Aviation Regiment is known as the "Flying Dragons." The battalion headquarters is located at Fort Wainwright, Alaska. The battalion provides aviation support to USARAK (United States Army Alaska) with UH-60A Blackhawks and CH-47 Chinooks.

Mission Vision
1st Battalion, 52d Aviation Regiment provides aviation general support to United States Army Alaska. On order, deploy and conduct full spectrum aviation operations in support of Combatant Commanders.
We are an aggressive, disciplined battalion of warriors prepared to deploy, fight and win on the battlefield. We are a master of our craft and mentally and physically tough enough to overcome confusion, chaos, extreme weather, physical stress and casualties in order to accomplish our mission. The Flying Dragons’ reputation is that of a proud, dedicated, cohesive team that exercises sound judgment and initiative to accomplish any mission.
